GDPR Compliance Statement

Jasper Tech Labs ("RipeX") is committed to protecting the personal data of individuals in the European Economic Area (EEA) and the United Kingdom in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation and the UK GDPR (together, "GDPR"). This statement summarises how we approach GDPR compliance and supplements our Privacy Policy.

1. Controller and processor roles

For personal data of our own visitors, prospects, and account holders, we act as a controller. For personal data our business customers upload to RipeX about their own data subjects, we act as a processor acting on the customer’s documented instructions; the customer is the controller.

2. Data Processing Addendum (DPA)

For customers acting as controllers under the GDPR, we make available a Data Processing Addendum incorporating GDPR Article 28 terms and, where relevant, Standard Contractual Clauses for international transfers. To request a signed DPA, contact info@iresolveservices.com.

3. Lawful basis

  • Contract: to provide the Service to our customers.
  • Legitimate interests: to secure, maintain, and improve the Service, balanced against individuals’ rights.
  • Consent: for certain cookies and marketing communications.
  • Legal obligation: to meet regulatory, tax, and accounting requirements.

4. Data subject rights

We support the exercise of GDPR rights: access, rectification, erasure ("right to be forgotten"), restriction of processing, data portability, objection, and the right not to be subject to solely automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects. Where we act as a processor, we assist the relevant controller in responding to such requests.

5. International data transfers

As an India-based provider, we may transfer personal data outside the EEA/UK. Where we do, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses and the UK International Data Transfer Addendum, together with supplementary measures where necessary.

6. Sub-processors

We engage vetted sub-processors (e.g., hosting, payment, and messaging providers) under written terms consistent with Article 28. A current list of sub-processors is available on request at info@iresolveservices.com, and we will give notice of intended changes so controllers may object where they have a right to do so.

7. Security & breach notification

We maintain technical and organisational measures appropriate to the risk. In the event of a personal data breach, we will notify affected controllers without undue delay and cooperate as required to enable them to meet their own notification obligations to supervisory authorities and data subjects.

8. Data protection by design

We seek to build privacy into the Service through measures such as access controls, tenant isolation, data minimisation, and retention limits, and we review these measures periodically.
